May 17, 2020 – May 23, 2020
National Archaeology Week provides the opportunity for people to learn about Australian archaeology and cultural heritage from 65,000 years ago to the present, and to connect with real archaeologists through a variety of events happening across Australia. Held in the third week of May each year, this exciting nationwide program of events and activities will include public digs, talks, exhibitions, site tours, workshops and displays.
This year, National Archaeology Week will run between 17-23 May 2020. To see what events are happening near you, please visit our events calendar at https://www.archaeologyweek.org/. This events calendar will be updated throughout the year, with events finalised in May.
