Discovering the Heritage of Minjerribah
Commencing at the Stradbroke Island Museum with a delicious welcoming morning tea, visitors will hear an historical presentation and will then be able to inspect the Museum. Following this, there will be a guided walk of Goompi/Dunwich which will include the c1830 military structure, Dunwich Benevolent Asylum heritages sites and Dunwich Cemetary.
Parking at Toondah Harbour (Cleveland) can be limited so mainland visitors should allow ample time to meet the 8:55am water taxi. The guided walk will go ahead despite inclement weather so visitors should come prepared.
