Curator in Conversation - Bond Store

Following the devastating floods of early 2022, the Bond Store has been closed to the public whilst staff seek advice from heritage specialist tradespeople on the care and conservation of the building.  For one week only, our staff will provide a behind-the-scenes tour of the Bond Store for members of the public, marking the first time the building has been open since January 2022.  

Visitors will learn about the Bond Store’s rich history, our department's ongoing work with specialists to care for the building, and our vision for the future of the site when it is able to be reopened to the public on a permanent basis.  Our aim is to share the story of this building with our community and examine what it was, its current state, and what we aim for it to become.
