Landsborough Museum Street Festival
May 17, 2025, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Free hinterland street festival celebrates local history.
Head to the Landsborough Museum Street Festival for a free fun-filled day the whole family will enjoy. Lovers of live music, nostalgia, film and free cake are invited to celebrate the Australian Heritage Festival.
This year the theme is Unearthed. Unearthed, focuses on rediscovering the past, spotlighting untold stories and forgotten histories while empowering future generations to safeguard cultural traditions.
The community is in for a treat with a range of hands-on activities, face-painting, live music, and entertainment. The celebration continues inside the museum with the new Grassroots to Glory film and exhibition, which showcases the region’s rich sporting heritage. ‘Bounce’ celebrates ball sports from rugby league to basketball, with previously unseen footage, stills and artefacts, on display.
Entry to the Street Festival and Landsborough Museum, including the ‘Grassroots to Glory’ Bounce exhibition, is free.
Arts and Heritage Levy Funded.
